Tomaž Tomažin, Pediatric Hospital, Ljubljana, 2009
Workshop and video
Video by Tomaž Tomažin, duration: 12 min, sound by Bojan Brajkovič
The project Seven Ordinary Things has been done in collaboration with children from the Pediatric Hospital in Ljubljana. Tomažin has conducted several workshops in time period of 2 months, based on chroma key method. This method is also basic method Tomažin is using in his artistic practice. These are seven short stories showing children doing impossible things like becoming bigger and smaller, sitting on the ceiling, flying through the clouds, being multiplied, etc. All titles were created by including drawings, objects and collages made by hospitalized children and by using the method of stop motion animation.
